Xi Delta 50th Anniversary

On September 18, 2022, the Xi Delta Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity reached a significant milestone. That date marked the 50th Anniversary of Xi Delta on the campus of Texas State University. As the first Black Greek organization chartered on campus, we are proud of this distinction and our community service work. You are invited to join us as we share in the collective strength and unity of all of our involved and impactful organizations.

Celebratory remarks featuring Texas State University President Kelly Damphousse will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by a scholarship presentation. Appetizers will be served.

The reception will be followed by the Texas State Men’s Basketball game against Southern Miss, scheduled for tip-off at 7:00 p.m.

Your registration and attendance will serve as your entrance into a door prize drawing for a 65″ LG 4K Smart TV! You must be present to win.

Free parking is available at the parking lot located at the corner of Charles Austin Dr. and Aquarena Springs Dr. Upon parking, walk across the street to the main entrance of the University Events Center (UEC). Inside the UEC, the Richard A. Castro Legacy Club will be located to your right, where you will find our event check-in table.

A basketball ticket is not required for entrance at the time of our event. Please arrive by 5:30 p.m. to ensure your complimentary entrance into the venue, as well as the door prize drawing for a 65” TV. Arrivals after 6:00 p.m. will need to purchase a ticket at the gate to enter the University Events Center.

Advance registration for this event has ended. Walk-ups are welcome to attend.
