In Memory

Dillon Burleson, Class of 2010, was the definition of a proud Bobcat and he served his University in many ways.  Dillon was a Resident Assistant, New Student Orientation Leader, Cat Camp Counselor, President of Men Against Violence, and received the Joanne Smith Outstanding Student Service Award, the Department of Housing and Residential Life Student Staff Member of the Year, and was named Homecoming King in 2009.  Dillon served on the inaugural committee to create Cat Camp, a three day pride and traditions camp for incoming freshman.  Dillon is survived by his wife Kendall, whom he met while both served as New Student Orientation Leaders at Texas State.

As a tribute to Dillon's legacy of student service and Bobcat love, his family requests donations be made to Texas State University for Cat Camp Scholarships or other student leadership programs to be further defined by the family.  If possible, a permanent endowment will be created in Dillon's name.
