LBJ Outstanding Senior Student Award Nomination
ELIGIBILITY
1. Nominee must be classified as a senior at Texas State University and be a candidate for graduation at Texas State University in May of the year that the award is conferred or have graduated the previous August or December.
2. Nominee must have completed at least sixty (60) credit hours at Texas State University.
3. Nominee must have demonstrated outstanding leadership, character, campus and community involvement, and academic success at Texas State University.
4. Nominee must be a person of such integrity, stature and demonstrated ability that the faculty, staff, students and alumni of the university will take pride in, and be inspired by, their recognition.
5. Self-nominations will not be accepted.
NOMINATION TIMELINE
- Texas State alumni, faculty, staff, or students must submit nominations on the Alumni Association website by Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. (CST)
- Nominees will be contacted by the Office of Alumni Relations to complete their nomination packet by Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. (CST)
NOMINEE REQUIREMENTS
Nominated students will receive notification and instructions by the Office of Alumni Relations after their nominations are received. In order to complete their nomination packet, students will be asked to submit the following to the Office of Alumni Relations by Thursday, March 23, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. (CST).
- Student ID Number
- Graduation date
- Resume
- Brief statement summarizing how they meet the criteria for the award.
Finalists will be asked to interview with the selection committee in late March/early April.
The deadline for nominations was Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. CST. We are no longer accepting nominations at this time.
