"I have no doubt that, my career would not be where it is today had it not been for the education and experiences I received from Texas State University. Matching the opportunities at other major universities, Texas State gave me the chance to become more than just another number. Now it is our chance to pay it back, to, provide more opportunities for those who will pave their own futures."

"Earning a degree from Texas State University changed my life. I was one of the first generation in our family who graduated from college. The professors who helped me achieve an education taught me to be responsible and professional; they instilled leadership qualities that have helped me be a successful business person, as well as be a father to my family. That is why I give to Texas State, so that another person's life may be changed for the better. One person truly can make a difference."
Immediate Past President
BS, Education, '72

"It's a privilege and honor to give back just a little of my time, talent, and treasure to Texas State - a world class university that truly is the "Rising Star of Texas!" I encourage all alums to explore the numerous opportunities to reconnect with your university. A good place to start is by joining your Alumni Association, find your passion, and then start giving back. You'll be glad you did."
