BUILD YOUR NETWORK
As alumni-in-training, undergrads are more than welcome into our Alumni Association family. When you join, you'll begin to build a network of peers and professionals who will help you throughout your college years and beyond. You'll find that as these life-long connections flourish, so will your pride and commitment to our great university and its traditions.
Here are some Alumni Association programs specially designed for you:
This is the way to start building those all-important connections to graduate Bobcats, as well as faculty, staff, and fellow undergrads. You'll also get fun Texas State gear and be invited to special events and networking opportunities.
A unique album filled with photos and memories of fellow students, highlighting places and traditions dear to a Bobcat's heart. Students who complete the Gold Book will receive a Texas State medallion to wear at graduation and are eligible to win prizes.
The Official Texas State ring is the greatest symbol of Texas State pride. Every semester we bring together 500 students and their family and friends to share in the Official Ring Ceremony, a tradition that demonstrates a Bobcat's commitment to our great university.
You'll get your first official Texas State t-shirt at Trade Up. During New Student Orientation and each long semester, we host t-shirt swaps where you can trade in another school's t-shirt for a free Texas State t-shirt.
Co-sponsored by the Alumni Association and the Office of Undergraduate Admissions, Ambassadors serve as student representatives who conduct campus tours, organize Bobcat Days, and assist with alumni and Gold Book events. A terrific way to meet people and serve your alma mater, too!
